Only One Person Could Do This
Huang: From the moment of concept to building a massive factory — liquid cooled, energized, permitted — in the short time that was done, that is like superhuman.
As far as I know, there's only one person in the world who could do that. Elon is singular in his understanding of engineering and construction and large systems and marshalling resources. It's unbelievable. And his engineering team is extraordinary.

19 Days
Huang: From the moment we decided to go — the planning with our engineering team, networking team, infrastructure computing team, the software team — all of the preparation, all of the logistics, the amount of technology and equipment that came in — to training: 19 days.
19 days is incredible. But it's also kind of nice to take a step back — do you know how many days 19 days is? It's just a couple weeks. And the mountain of technology, if you're ever to see it, is unbelievable. All the wiring, the networking — just getting this mountain of technology integrated and all the software working.

What Normal Looks Like
Huang: 100,000 GPUs — easily the fastest supercomputer on the planet, as one cluster. A supercomputer you would normally build takes 3 years to plan. Then they deliver the equipment and it takes one year to get it all working. We're talking about 19 days.
What Elon and the xAI team achieved is singular. Never been done before.
Normal: 3 years to plan, 1 year to deploy. Elon did it in 19 days. Never been done before.
